Lumière d'Hiver: Madame Pauline Vintage x Pennyblack

The Fall Winter 2023 capsule collection

Pennyblack and Madame Pauline Vintage reunite to collaborate on a new mission: to recreate the style that went mainstream among the regulars of the most prestigious ski destinations during the seventies and early eighties. And thus was conceived Lumière d’Hiver, the Fall-Winter 2023 Capsule Collection: a creative path founded on archival research and projected into the new season, a meeting of experiences and visions that are different but kindred, that enrich the Pennyblack wardrobe with new splendour.

Knitwear is the star. Traditional Nordic tricot creations – jacquard in geometric, plait and diamond patterns – are covered in embroidery with transparent sequins that capture and reflect the winter light like little ice crystals. Oversize volumes and cropped lengths create cutting-edge proportions, while the colour blocks add a playful, dynamic touch. The pullovers come in two colour palettes: one in bright tones and the other centred on neutrals. The look is completed with high-waist stirrup leggings and pencil skirts in stretch technical fabric, which create a fitted, tapered silhouette.

The Madame Pauline Vintage boutique was established in Milan in 2013 to offer new aesthetic visions by combining different styles and eras. It is distinguished by its meticulous selections of unique, high-quality pieces. Working with Pennyblack on the Lumière d’Hiver Capsule Collection is one of its founders, Alessandro Di Lorenzo, fashion designer and consultant for prestigious international brands.

Today, on the occasion of the Capsule Collection launch, the creators Chiara Carcano, Veronica Fedolfi, Miriana Ritano, Ginevra Nardini and Valeria Pirri will participate in an exclusive Experience at the Hygge Bar (Milan) specifically designed to amplify the communication of the collection.
