Top model Mariacarla Boscono interprets the essence of Marella in the Spring-Summer 2022 photographic campaign.
The images tell of a poetic and feminine collection, capable of mixing the sense of feeling good about one’s body with seduction, traditional elements with new solutions, conveying the charm of a spontaneous and rhythmic way of dressing.
In Women We Trust is the key message in both the catalogue and the video story, whose script, performed in two voices, is based on the text signed by Giulia Caminito (awarded with Campiello 2021 Prize) exclusively for the brand. The text is characterised by the rhythm of a ballad or a love poem, where the subject of the writing, is the other woman, is ourselves, is Italy. She becomes the subject first of the written text and then of a long-distance dialogue, where the bodies are far apart but the words are very close. Two worlds – that of fashion and that of literature – which meet in telling their stories and which find themselves in the continuity, in stating together that they trust in women. The piece also makes it possible to reveal a more hidden side of the Italian supermodel and to translate into written words the Marella woman in her most sincere identity: free, aware, but solid, ready to speak her mind in her own words.
