Max Mara: CNMI Award in recognition of Sustainability

Considering the incredible work Eco-Age is carrying out, promoting young talents and fostering the battle for sustainability in the fashion business, and in light of the collaboration with Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana, Max Mara has decided to present a fully sustainable look at the Green Carpet Fashion Awards in Milan.
Creative Director Ian Griffiths has designed a beautiful fully recycled look: comprised of a top, skirt, and short padded coat. The top, skirt and the shell of the coat are all created from organic silk crepe de chine, supplied by Clerici Tessuto, and certified by the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS), avoiding chemical pesticide pollution.
CameLuxe material is used for the coat’s filling. The look was be worn during the awards ceremony by the famous top model Doutzen Kroes.
Max Mara received the CNMI in recognition for sustainability Award for the CameLuxe, the ultra-fine insulating technology.
The award was be accepted by Mr Elia Maramotti, third generation of the family that owns Max Mara Fashion Group and currently Brand Director of MAX&Co.
