Privacy Statement - GDPR

Pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of the EU Regulation 2016/679 (hereinafter also “GDPR”) on personal data, we would like to inform you that personal data provided during the submission of job applications are processed for the sole purpose of managing personnel selection procedures, and will be processed by the company Max Mara Fashion Group s.r.l., with registered office in Via Pietro Giannone 10 – 10121 Torino (Italy), which, pursuant to the GDPR, acts as the Data Controller (hereinafter also “Company”).
The processing will be performed in a relevant and transparent manner and in compliance with the principles of lawfulness, limitation, accuracy, integrity and confidentiality set out by Art. 5 of the GDPR and by other relevant legislation.

Purposes

The collection and processing of personal data have the exclusive purposes of the recruitment, selection and evaluation of Company personnel.
The collection of your personal data, which takes place through the use of the website, and the processing thereof, relate to personal and contact details, images – including photographs – that accompany your professional profile, and special data categories transmitted and/or communicated as per Art. 9 of the GDPR (including, for example, data related to any disabilities and/or belonging to “protected categories”).
All personal data shall be processed within the limits strictly relevant to the obligations, tasks and purposes set out above.
All your data shall be entered in relevant paper-based and/or electronic files, or in any other type of suitable medium, and kept under constant control with suitable operating procedures and security measures, according to the provisions of Art. 32 of EU Regulation 2016/679, in order to guarantee the security and confidentiality of your personal data, against unlawful or incorrect uses and unauthorized accesses and in order to prevent the loss thereof.

Legal basis for processing and data retention

The legal basis for the processing of personal data provided for the purposes set out above is represented by your express consent. Your data will be retained at the Company for a maximum of 24 months from their provision, in the event that said data are not used for establishing an employment contract.
The Company reserves the right to store in its files only the profiles of the candidates and the related personal data that it considers to be interesting.

Scope of notification and processing

Your data will not be disclosed and, apart from being processed by authorized persons within the Company appointed to perform the recruitment, selection and evaluation of personnel, they may be communicated, solely for the same purposes indicated above, to the following categories of entities:

- entities that will process them as data processors appointed by the Company, in its capacity as Data Controller (Art. 28 of the GDPR), and that need to access the data for performing specific tasks on behalf of the Company, necessary or functional to the performance of the activity (e.g. companies that specialize in recruitment etc.);

- entities that will process the data as independent controllers, limited to what is necessary for complying with legal requirements;

- other companies belonging to the Group.

Rights of the data subject

The data subjects are entitled to the rights as per Chapter III of the EU Regulation 2016/679 and, in particular, the right to access their personal data, to request the rectification, updating and erasure thereof, if incomplete, incorrect or collected against the law, and to object to the processing thereof for legitimate reasons.
