Collezione Maramotti, in accordance with the latest regulations issued on 3 November, will remain closed to the public until 3 December 2020, but its online activities continue
The Collection's YouTube channel now features more than one hundred videos, with special insights and new original content to keep you in touch with our projects and the contemporary art world.
The thematic divisions make it easy to browse through your interests: video interviews with the artists who have opened their temporary projects at the Collection, #paroledartista ("artist's words") based on the artists' own voices and thoughts, dance performances in collaboration with Fondazione I Teatri Reggio Emilia and Aterballetto, and specials on the #MaxMaraArtPrize for Women, in collaboration with Whitechapel Gallery. Among the last updates:
Video interviews with the artists featured in the temporary exhibitions on view at Collezione Maramotti: Mollino/Insides with paintings by Enoc Perez, and photographs by Brigitte Schindler and Carlo Mollino; and Two Thoughts by Svenja Deininger.
A conversation between artist Angelo Bellobono and curator Elisa Del Prete for the presentation of the artist's book Linea Appennino 1201, held this September in the Apennines near Reggio Emilia.
A conversation held at RIGENERA Festival of Contemporary Architecture, in which artist Margherita Moscardini and architect Michele Di Marco talk about emergency architecture and humanitarian cooperation in reference to Moscardini's project 'The Fountains of Za’atari'.
