BAI Max Mara - Corporate Archive and Library

Pass on knowledge and

memories to the next generation

Laura Lusuardi

Year of creation: 2003

Mission: BAI Max Mara - Corporate Archive and Library project has the aim of collecting, ordering and passing on the Group’s historic heritage, preserved from the fifties to today.

Research and inspiration, and historic Heritage: are two BAI “souls”, which dialogue together in a stimulating and active context, by embracing the common perspective of creating new synergies.

Corporate Archive: represents the historical memory of the company, endless resource and fundamental source of inspiration for creativity, but it is also an operational and living space, where everything, garments, magazines, textiles, is at hand.

Library: specialized in fashion and visual art, through periodicals, monographs and trends, it provides new impulses at the creative area of the group to rethink the creative process in a different way.

BAI: Library as research in the present, Archive as research in the past, Corporate as research applied to the future.
