Award Ceremony for the 2009-2010 School Year
On Saturday, March 26th, the 2009-2010 Giulia Maramotti Scholarship Award ceremony was held in the presence of Mauro Lupi (Manager of Digital Department at Ammiro Partners) and Laura Milani (Sales Manager of Facebook Italy) who spoke about "Passion and Profession: personal storytelling from the web world."
Six students from the schools Istituto Galvani and Istituto Chierici received awards and three received honourable mentions.
From the Istituto Chierici the following students were honoured:
SIMONE TURRISI – FIRST PLACE, Class IV E
Received the award for his constant commitment, the confident strokes and modernity of the design, and his sensitivity to fashion which results from an in-depth knowledge. The store window designs he submitted are fashionable and non-trivial.
ELENA COLLI – SECOND PLACE, Class IV E
Received the award for the originality of the proposed themes and the good execution of the design and project. Worthy of note is also her attention to details and nuances.
CHIARA BININI – THIRD PLACE, Class IV E
Received the award for her design full of ideas, a vision for store windows that are fashionable and consistent with the project, and for her coherent choice of materials.
Honourable mentions:
FEDERICA TRABUCCO Class IV E
For the proper execution of the work, well-executed drawings, and for the accessories she conceived.
MARTINA FALCO Class IV C
For the thorough study and design of the store windows which can be successfully realized.
From the Istituto Galvani the following students were honoured:
IRIS CELADA – FIRST PLACE Class IV A
Received the award for research, inspiration and the good execution of the garment; good attention to details and additional coordinated accessories.
VALENTINA BERTONI – SECOND PLACE Class IV A
Received the award for the modern lines of the garments, the research, and the presentation of the project.
FRANCESCA CECI – THIRD PLACE Class IV B
Received the award for the good execution of a rather complex model and for the project’s stylistic coherence.
Honourable mention:
JORIDA NDREKA Class IV B
For the choice and the essentiality of the garment.
