Historical Communications Archive

The Communications Archive is a collection of materials from the Communications and Advertising Departments of all Max Mara Group companies from the early 1960’s to the present day.

The archive consists of folders; advertising catalogues with the photographs of the various campaigns for the group’s brands; window signs; posters and billboards. The posters with photographs by Sarah Moon for advertising campaigns from the early Seventies are particularly important.

The printed materials are accompanied by two other collections: the first has over ten thousand items, including photographic materials, negatives, slides and original prints from advertising campaigns. The second has more than five hundred items consisting of audio-visual materials showing fashion shows, presentations, special events and the first television commercials filmed for the famous "Carosello" TV show aired in the Sixties.
